Transtek has co-sponsored the Conference on AML/CFT Compliance Requirements that took place on the 2nd and 3rd of November, 2009 in Dedeman Hotel, Damascus.The conference witnessed participation of local as well as international experts in the field of AML/CFT, and aimed to highlight international standards and compliance matters.

Through the conference, Transtek presented Compass AML, a dual language (Arabic- English) system which is developed by Syrian engineers and experts at Transtek to adapt to all policies and legislations of the central bank of Syria, as well as international legislations and rules of SWIFT association to minimize the risks associated with suspicious activities of fraud and illegal operations.
The system ensures validating details of all current clients and new clients, also checks the suspicious cases, transactions, and accounts, as well as all information with international and national black lists issued by central banks and accredited associations. Main specs of the Compass AML include the following: Black List Functions, Know Your Customer KYC, Swift Integration, AML processing, Monitoring, Case Investigation, and Reports.
