Transtek Dinner With Bank Sector  Print


DAMASCUS, May, 2009 - Transtek, the largest software company in Syria, had an open meeting with the officials from the private banks sector in Syria to shed light on ways to enhance the operations of banks through the instalment of intelligent and tailored systems to bring them into the next level of performance.

During a dinner at their honor, in Le Bistro restaurant Damascus, the meeting brought together the company's CEO Abdulsalam Haykal, the first technical director Husam Khaskieh, and the director of marketing and sales Hazem Haykal, in addition to the highest-level directors at the company and a number of employees, with officials from the Syrian private banks with their financial, information and human resources managers.

The meeting focused on adopting new technologies at the banks in a bid to contribute to the development of their performance as well as meet the needs of their expansion in the Syrian market. Zooming in on Transtek’s products that meet the evolving needs of the banks in particular, the meeting elaborated on the reliability and effectiveness of Transtek’s solutions in handling the operations of financial institutions and banks in the financial sector.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Husam Khaskieh declared, "The systems produced by Transtek are on the same level with international ones, and compete with them in terms of the cost of application, and technical support available throughout the day." He added, "These systems are designed specifically to fit with the specifications of Arabic language and the culture of work environments of the client in accordance with international standards, which is the fruit of years of sustained effort by an integrated team of experts in the fields of consultancy, analysis and programming in Transtek."

Ibrahim Al Assil, from Transtek's sales section, provided an overview of the systems produced by the company including Compass for human resources, Compass for anti-money laundering, Compass for the management of procurement, Compass shares and shareholders, and Compass of the Department of fixed assets.

Transtek, which was founded in 2000, is now the largest software company in Syria, an aims to become one of the two chief software suppliers to large and medium-sized enterprises in the Arab region, and the first Arab internet supplier at all, by providing software solutions to match the sophisticated global companies, taking into account the needs of the local market, and offering technical support with very competitive rate cards.
